That is quite an adventure. When our medical system works like that, it is a site to behold. Too bad it is not always quick and easy. Good to hear that there was no danger and the you are hobbling along but have some nifty pills to help ease the pain.

Keep smilin!

Down here in the States, that adventure might have taken 1-2 days. I sat in an ER with a HORRIBLE migraine for I swear 4 hours before anyone seeing me. Then a good hour waiting for a Dr who could give me a shot to numb the pain. And that's with medical insurance AND my doc's specifically saying, 'Go to ER NOW!'

Wow, they took out the whole meniscus! I had my knee done for ACL and meniscus damage it was horrible. I hope it isn't something big.

Bad about the time/good about the pills!

Were you at the Royal Vic? I once had a cubicle next to an elderly woman who wanted to be admitted because she said she had an egg in her throat. Hope your leg is on the mend. And yeah, they usually take the blood clot threat pretty seriously. Hope you mend quickly.

Shannon

wow, scary. glad it wasn't a clot. hope they figure out what it is soon and that you feel better.

Jen

eeks! what a day. I hope your knee feels better soon.

Spacemom

Yikes! Yes, blood clots very bad... I am glad it is not that...

Glad it's not a clot! We've had some family excitement with those, and that's just not fun. I have to echo what Roni said - That was great medical service compared to my experince in the US, at least w/ my full insurance & great local hospitals/clinics. Enjoy those fun pills...

Oh my! Scary, scary. SCARY! Clot. Eek! Not a clot. Yay! What is it? Fun pills. Yippee! Sounds like you need them.
