Let's suppose, for a moment, that you've been having a trying couple of weeks at home. Let's suppose that on top of being emotionally tired, you're suddenly physically fatigued and think that you are probably either iron or B12 deficient, (again, because it wouldn't be the first time). And let's suppose that while walking home from your blood tests you walked by your favorite crack dealer shoe store and these puppies were in the window:
They would cheer you up, right? Even if you didn't have the energy to wear them anywhere but your basement? (notice the nice heated cork floor as a backdrop....)
Those are adorable. Sorry to hear about the testing, hope you feel better soon.

Just what The Foot Doctor ordered. I love them! I am celebrating being able to wear shoes for the first time in 3 weeks since I smashed my little toe. But it killed me not to be able to try any on on Saturday when we were out on our shopping orgy.

Those are soo cute. I love them!
I too also bought shoes week #3 home. After the 2nd pediatrician appt I went right online and ordered me a pair of some sanity in a box of yummy shoes!

Cute, cute, cute! They remind me of Pedipeds, but for big girls. Am I the only one who just discovered Pedis? Love! They look like Chinese squeaky shoes!
Feel better!

Nice shoes. You obviously live in my favourite neighborhood in the world. I used to live across the street from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sherbrooke. I could buy fresh fish, fresh bread, regular groceries, everything...just by walking out my door. I don't remember a happier time in my life.
I loved your craft. I am thinking about you.

Yes, those are cheering-up shoes. Admire them as you kick back on that heated floor. Hope you all are doing well. I'm thinking of you.

Amazing how well retail therapy works. Seems I cannot leave the house lately without picking up a litle something to adorn my closet.

Those would look cute on some, but would look ridiculous on me. I wish I could wear cute funky shoes like that without looking like a drag queen! Camper, right?
Posted by: jen | February 27, 2007 at 04:36 PM
Oh man am I jealous. I think they're perfect.

Oh my, too too divine, just what the doctor ordered, I think. Those shoes should make your iron-poor blood sit up and take notice.
Hope you're seeing progress on the DD#2 front.

They would make me happy. They are making me happy now, just knowing that they are out there in the universe.
