Catching up on your blog. I am sorry for the trouble you are having. My 2nd daughter absolutely hated me, would not attach to me. She only wanted my husband. It was a horrible first year. But I worked hard to prove to her that I was a good mom. Eventually, she learned to trust me.
If you are going through anything like I did, know that you're not alone, and that this lurker is sending you all the positive vibes that I can. Most of all, take care of yourself.
Hugs! I know I wanna puke right now that I just wrote it, but that is truly how I feel. sending you good vibes and hoping that it gets easier sooner rather than later.
MM,
Delurking to wish you well.
My children were not adopted, but i adore your blog and I can relate to scary things with kids and i'm sending you every good wish...
peace,

know that we are all thinking of you guys. I hadn't read in a bit, and rarely comment, but I just have to say that you at least sound like you are holding together very very well considering what's going on. It sounds very very difficult and not much fun at all.
Good for beach ball for telepathically telling someone to send you flowers. I hope Mortimer's paw is better, too.
I hope you guys find a solution to everything that will work for you, the internets be damned. You have to do this on your own, so that means you get to find help your way. Good luck.
Hugs to you and your thoughtful friend. I am a lurker, mom of six, two adopted and four bio. I feel an affinity for the IA parnts, as my daughter came to us at 16 months old from foster care in the US. Bonding was so rough, she was a hitter, bitter and head butter (that is, she hit us with her head).
Thinking of you and your family. It will get better, but for the time being in sucks.
What a wonderful thought by someone. People can be SO nice.

Smart girl. And she apparently has a smart helper who knows your home address!
I hope things get easier for you. Soon.
(this morning our "Mama-girl" screamed at my wife that she wanted Papa. Now! so nothing lasts forever...)

hang in there girl, lots of deep breaths - it's nothing you have done and she will come around with time - it's the "time" that's the killer though!
I know that you know all this but sometimes it just needs to be said again. be gentle with yourself and enjoy the flowers - smart girl that beach ball
