We are most definately in a blue period around here. I resorted to Kosher wine and halloween candy as therapy last night. Dumpling's parent-teacher conference on Monday left us very shaken. More than we anticipated. And as hard as I try to move on, I'm still overwhelmed by sadness over the house situation. Last night, for the second week in a row, BB threw up all over her bed.
And now poor Lucy, our long-suffering beloved #2 dog, had yet another procedure. That poor thing has horrible allergies, suffered from some kidney issues last year and now had to have surgery this morning to remove a cyst from the top of her head and a mass of unknown origin from her neck. She looks like hell and is moping around, looking at me with her sad-puppy eyes, wondering why she had to go through this.... I wish I could share the wine and candy with her.
Oh, I'm sorry. What a crappy week.

MM,
So sorry - i too had a rattler of a parent teacher conference this week.
i'm sure you'll gain some perspective (maybe formulate and plan) and feel better about it today.
sucky situation for lucy - hopefully it's nothing too terribly serious.
Thinking of you and hoping you'll be feeling brighter soon!
peace,
kath

I'm afraid if you share the wine and candy with Lucy, you'll be dealing with the throw up issue all over again.....
